KSRM, one of the leading steel construction industries in the country, took charge of the education and maintenance of Yasin (12) and Golap (9), two orphaned children of unjustly jailed Minu Akhter.

Shahriar Jahan Rahat, deputy managing director of the organization, expressed interest in taking care of the orphans after the news came in various media. Such information has been found in the district administration sources.

KSRM Media Advisor Mizanul Islam confirmed the matter. He said that The deputy commissioner has already been informed of the interest of Shahriar Jahan Rahat, deputy managing director of the company. Basically, KSRM will decide what to do as per the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner.

“KSRM wants the two orphaned children of the unfortunate mother Minu Akhter not to be the victims of the cruelty of the society. They can grow up laughing and playing like other children in the light of the world. Don't let them have a negative attitude towards the world and life’’ he added.

Chittagong Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mominur Rahman said that KSRM would like to take overall responsibility for Minu Akter's two orphaned children. I have already been contacted more than once by KSRM. We will assign some tasks to KSRM.

According to him, the industrial company will take the responsibility of supporting the two children.

Minu Akhter's lawyer Golam Mawla Murad said that such generosity of KSRM is undoubtedly worthy of praise. Through this, Minu's two orphaned sons found a safe haven. What could be happier than this?

Minu Akhter, who was abandoned by her husband, went to jail on behalf of others, on the promise of her childten being taken care of. She was told that she would be released soon.

But after about three years, the matter became known. In view of this, Minu was released from jail on June 16 after a long legal process due to the efforts of some dignitaries including lawyers. Minu was later killed in a mysterious road accident 13 days after her release.
