Trader murdered in N’ganj, schoolboy’s body recovered from river

A trader was stabbed to death by criminals at Haziganj area under Fatulla model police station in Narayaganj on Monday.

Deceased was identified as Mahbubul Haq Bablu, 50, son of Jalaluddin, resident of Haziganj area in the city.

Slain Bablu’s younger brother Jewel claimed that his brother ran a cable television network business at Haziganj and thus he had dispute with some rivals in the same area.

Soon after the incident police arrested a suspect accused in this connection.

Locals claimed that Bablu came to Haziganj Bazar at dawn and then some stick holders attacked Bablu and left the spot following tortured indiscriminately.

After recovered Bablu, locals sent him Khanpur hospital where on duty doctor declared dead.

Fatulla police station boss Aslam Hosain said that a case was filed and the incident will be detect soon.

On the other hand, Narayanganj Sadar model police recovered a body of a schoolboy from the Shitfalakhya river who went missing on Saturday noon.

The deceased was identified as Yasin, 14, son of Mohammad Ali, resident of Azibpur village of Shiddhirganj police stattion and also was a student of class seven of Reboti Mohon high school of Shiddhirganj.

Police quoting relatives confirmed that yasin was drown during bath with friends hit by sand laden bulk head into Shitalakhya river at Shiddhirganj ghat point who later recovered from Syedpur area in Narayanganj sadar model police station.
