Textiles and Jute Golam Dastagir Gazi Bir Pratik was sent to Singapore for better treatment by an air ambulance on Sunday. Assistant Personal Secretary to the Minister Emdadul Haq in a message informed the media that the Minister has been suffering from pneumonia for the last fifteen days.
For treatment, he was taken to Apollo Hospital first and then to Asgar Ali Hospital in the capital. Later having no improvement in his condition and continues deterioration, his physician suggested him to go to Singapore for better treatment. The minister will be admitted to Singapore General Hospital, he notified.
