TESOL Society’s int’l conference held

A two-day international virtual research conference titled “Contextualizing Research in Challenging Times” organized by TESOL Society of Bangladesh was held on Saturday.

Professor Dr Md Sazzad Hossain, University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC) and Director of Bangladesh Satellite Company Limited (BSCL), inaugurated the conference while Dr Richard Smith of University of Warwick, UK and Professor Dr Ravinder Gargesh, President-Elect of Asia TEFL, were the keynote speakers.

A number of internationally renowned ELT practitioners and researchers joined the conference as the plenary speakers. 

There was a pre-conference virtual session titled “CREDIBLE Projects in Action” on December 16.

The session was conducted by Dr Ahmar Mahboob, associate professor, Department of Linguistics & Founder, Free Linguistics Conference (FLC), University of Sydney, Australia, and his team.

The whole session will be moderated by Dr. Sabreena Ahmed, assistant professor, Department of English and Humanities, BRAC University, and Dipty  Rahman, Lecturer, Daffodil International University, Bangladesh.
