SSC candidate’s bus falls into shaft, 10 injured

A bus bearing SSC candidates falls into a shaft next to a regional road in Dhamrai, outskirt of the capital on Tuesday morning. However, no one was seriously injured in this incident.

Rassel Mollah, inspector and in charge of Kawalipara police outpost of Dhamrai police station said, “The incident took place around 8:30 am on Tuesday morning on Dhamrai-Balia regional road at Batulia area in Dhamrai while the students bus was going to Kushuria Abbas Ali High School, examination centre, from Ashulia along with 33 SSC candidates of four school, teachers and guardians.” He further said, “Suddenly the bus driver loses control after blast a front side wheel, and falls into the shaft. Around 10 were injured in this incident. Later police rushed to the spot and given first aid after rescued and taken them to hospital. However, no one of them was seriously injured.”

Samiul Haque, Executive officer of Dhamrai Upazila said, “All the injured have been rescued and all candidates are participated in exam.
