Daylong sports, cultural function and prize-giving ceremony of Amada Adarsha College in Lohagora upazila of Narail were held on the college campus on Monday. The students participated in various events including songs, dance, individual and group acting and recitation.
Principal of Patuakhali Medical College Dr. SM Abul Hasan was present as chief guest in the inaugural and prize-giving ceremony on the day while Lohagora upazila education officer Abdul Hamid Bhuiya, College governing body members Sultan Mahmood, Md. Asaduzzaman Mondal, Abul Kasem Khan,Md. Idris Gazi,lecturer of the college Rupok Mukherjee,Md.Ashraful Islam, Md. Forhad Khan,Md.Monirul Islam, Samir Biswas, Prakash Pathok,Nabonita, Azizur Rahman, Ferdausi and Golam Kibria were present in the occasion. Principal of Amada College Md. Al Faysal Khan presided over the function. The chief guest and other guests were distributed prizes among the winners of the cultural contest.
Speakers stressed quality education to make students as worthy citizens imbued with humanitarian virtues to take the country ahead. They called upon teachers to provide moral and co-curricular educations to the students so that they could be worthy citizens of the country and lead the nation towards advancement being imbued with the patriotic spirit.
