Shipping ministry implements 100pc ADP

The Ministry of Shipping has spent 99.69 percent of the money allocated for the projects under the Revised Annual Development Programme (RADP) in the fiscal year 2018-19. This information was disclosed in a meeting on RADP at the Shipping Ministry at the secretariat here, said a press release, reports BSS. State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury chaired the meeting attended by Shipping Secretary Md Abdus Samad and officials concerned. In 2017-18 fiscal year, the implementation rate was 99.06 percent and national implementation rate was 94.36 percent in the fiscal year 2018-19, the release said.

It said the ministry will implement 49 projects under ADP in the fiscal year 2019-20 while Taka 4,813.31 crore budgetary allocations were made to this end. The meeting also gave directives to the people concerned to make work plan for completing the project work within stipulated time. The meeting apprised that the RADP under the Ministry of Shipping spent Taka 4,802.18 crore out of allocated Taka 4,816.80 crore for 65 projects.
