On Tuesday a seminar titled “Trade, Development and Poverty Linkages: Concerns for Bangladesh in the Post-Covid Era” organized by the Department of Development Studies, Faculty of Arts and Social Science (FASS) of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) held at Bijoy Auditorium of BUP. The seminar was organized to identify the prudent measures that requires to be taken to mitigate the economic losses in the post-Covid era to ensure the sustainable development of Bangladesh.
In the seminar, BUP VC Major General Md Mahbub-ul Alam, ndc, afwc, psc, MPhil, PhD was present as the Chief Guest. Dr. Rashed Al-Mahmud Titumir, Chairman & Professor, Department of Development Studies, University of Dhaka presented the keynote paper. Lt Col Md Shahabuddin Ahmed, Chairman, Department of Development Studies, FASS moderated the seminar.
Among others, BUP high officials, faculty members and students also attended the seminar.
