Saraswati Puja celebrated in dists

Sri Sri Saraswati Puja is one of the biggest religious festivals of the Hindu community. Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, words and melody, is worshiped in this festival through various arrangements. 

On the occasion of Saraswati Puja, the Hindu community, especially the students, organize various religious ceremonies including Bani Archana. According to the followers of Hinduism, Goddess Saraswati is the symbol of truth, justice and enlightenment.  

Like other parts of the country, various religious ceremonies were held at the public central Kalibari temple in Gopalganj on the occasion of Saraswati Puja-2021. Puja celebration, idol installation, worship, wreath laying and distribution of Prasad were held in the morning.

Dr Arun Kanti Biswas, President of Public Central Kalibari, Bibhuti Roy, General Secretary, Dwijendranath Dhali, Convener of Sri Sri Saraswati Puja Committee, Members of the committee Babu Shailendranath Majumder, Babu Ranendranath Mandal, Babu Ranjan Kumar Bain, Mrs. Sanchita Ghosh and others were present at the time.

In the puja, thousands of devotees, including teachers, students and guardians paid homage at the feet of the Goddess of knowledge and music, following hygiene rules. Prasad was later distributed among all by the organizing committee. 

Meanwhile, the puja was celebrated at various educational institutes throughout the district including Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology, Government Bangabandhu College, Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Women's College, Lalmia City College and Sheikh Hasina Government Girls High School and College.
