Runner Trading Limited (RTL), a concern of Runner Group, will sell and promote different models of Italy-based IVECO brand commercial vehicles like industrial trucks, general and luxury minibus and provide after-sales services and supply genuine spare parts in Bangladesh.
The group has recently signed an agreement with the world famous European company IVECO S.p.A. engaged in manufacturing of industrial and commercial vehicles.
Under the agreement, Runner Trading Limited (RTL), a major concern of Runner Group, will act as an authorized distributor of the Italy-based multinational brand, said a company statement issued on Wednesday.
In addition to manufacturing different types and capacities of minibuses, ambulances and light commercial vehicles to be used for diversified applications, IVECO also manufactures highly-standard sophisticated tourist and city buses as well as different models of medium and heavy duty industrial trucks ranging from 18 to 130 tonnage capacities.
Different models and types of IVECO vehicles are already being used by various government agencies and institutes such as Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Police, various UN Peacekeeping Missions of Bangladeshi Forces, Dhaka City Corporation, Padma Bridge Construction Project etc. in the country.
IVECO owned by the Netherlands-based company CNH Industrial is one of most famous brands among world’s top 10 commercial vehicles brands. The company has 66 manufacturing plants, 53 research and development centers, around 6,000 own innovations and 9,629 copyrights across the world.
IVECO and CNH Industrial have been selling high-end products manufactured in their own plants and also ensuring quality after-market services and genuine spare parts in 180 countries through its own initiatives or through distributors and dealers spread all around the globe. The inclusion of Runner Group as an authorized distributor of IVECO in Bangladesh is a part of the brand’s vision and long-term strategy to expand its worldwide extended markets and supply high quality products enriched with latest technologies and facilities.
