The road communication of Sari-Gowainghat halted following the Barki baily bridge collapsed with the cement leaden truck at Gowainghat upazila on Sunday morning.
However, there was no casualty was reported during the incident.
Sources said, a cement leaden truck came from Sylhet to reach Gowainghat upazila. As the truck reached Barki baily bridge it collapsed, leaving the bridge broken into the canal.
Following the incident the road communication of Sari -Gowainghat was snapped since morning, where local people was suffering a lot including the school going student.
Meanwhile, after the incident local administration informed the matter to the Roads and Highways, said Bishawjith Kumar Pal, UNO of Gowainghat upazila.
An alternative road are preparing for vehicle movement the UNO added.
