Argentine Minister for Foreign Affairs Santiago Andres Cafiero along with the officials of River Plate visited Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) on Monday.
Officials of the River Plate, the most successful club in Argentina domestic football competition were enthralled while visiting the club arena of the Bashundhara Kings, the sensational of Bangladesh Football on Tuesday.
It Is the talk of the town of Argentine Minister for Foreign Affairs Santiago Andres Cafiero’s along with the some of the officials of the Argentine football Club River Plate for last three days when the Argentine high ups also had courtesy call to his Bangladesh counterpart.
Meanwhile, Argentine Minister for Foreign Affairs also inaugurated the new embassy in Dhaka after 45 years when he termed the opening of embassy of Argentina in Bangladesh is stepping stone to make better relationship. Sebastian Perez Escober, chairman of the national and International Football Schools Department of River Plate and following their meeting four leading clubs of Bangladesh on Sunday, went to visit Abahani Limited and Bashundhara Kings Arena on Tuesday.
The officials of the River Plate, first of all visited the under-construction Abahani Limited and them went Bashundhara.
The official duo expressed their enthral after visiting the Bashundhara Kings Arena, though it is also under-construction, as the full construction and decorations are yet to be completed. In their more than one hour visit at the Kings arena, the delegates of the River Plate were delighted when watching the gallery, dressing rooms and the press box.
Sebastian in bus reaction after visiting the Kings arena told the reporters that all arrangements are seemed almost same standard of Argentina- “Very beautiful the Kings Arena to look at, almost like as in Argentina, though our Rver Plate galleries are are gigantic, there have 84,000 capacity, there are so many structures including swimming pool and Basketball.”
“It will be turned into more beautiful look after completing all construction works, Kings takes the look of Argentine Premier Division Clubs.”
Sebastian, who has to visit clubs of all over the world also compared with some other prominent clubs, as he said, “I had the opportunity to visit so many clubs all over the world but there are many of clubs have no so many facilities, as Kings have.”
River Club mainly want to work with academy stage with the clubs of Bangladesh but from when they want to begin the works it was cleared, as the officials said, “After going back home we will discuss with other officials of the River Plate and by this this time discussion with Bangladesh’s teams will be continued, hopefully something will be in this year.”
One of the King’s officials said, “They are mainly thinking about different arrangements and academy. They proposed after their returning home and we will also be on touch.”
