Reunion inaugurated at Kaliganj school

Two-day long reunion of the ex-students of Mobarakganj Sugar Mills Limited (Mochik) High School of Kaliganj in Jehnidah was inaugurated on Friday morning.  MP from Jhenidah-4 constituency Anwarul Azim Anar inaugurated the progrmame. 

A colourful rally paraded the industrial town with placards and festoons. Presided over by an ex-student Masud Karim, tKaliganj municipality chairman Ashraful Alam, Mochik high school headmaster Shahidul Islam, Mochik workers’ union president Glam Rasul, ex school teacher Liakat Ali, Golam Rabbani among others spoke. The speakers discussed the glorious past of the school and achievements by its students in home and abroad.


The organizers said they had taken a number of programmes make the day eventful like cultural events and discussion through memorize the past of the students, teachers and managing committee members. The ex students have established a computer laboratory in the school to practice the information and modern communication technology.
