A reserved chair was set for the Freedom Fighters at the office room of Md. Habibur Rahman, Officer In-Charge of Chakaria Police Station. This initiative was taken to honor the freedom fighters upholding the slogan “Mujib Borsher angikar, Police hobe janatar.” Everyone in the area is praising this initiative of OC Md. Habibur Rahman, who is the son of freedom fighter Abdul Wahid Miah.  OC Md. Habibur Rahman said, he has taken this step to set a chair only for the freedom fighters in his office to reduce the difficulties faced by them at the police station.

The freedom fighters of Chakaria are also happy about this initiative. Former Commander of Cox’s Bazar District Command Md. Shahjahan said he and other freedom fighters were happy to know about setting the reserved chair at Chakaria Police Station. Freedom Fighter Mojaffar Ahmed said they are happy to receive such honor. Additional Superintendent of Police Mohammad Iqbal Hossain said, this initiative has brought honor for all of them.
