Fishermen caught a rare fish in a pond at Chotoshalua village in Chuadanga Sadar upazila on Saturday.
Mokbul Hossain, a fisherman of Chotoshalua village, said when hw threw the net at the pond he found this rare fish. “I did not see such kind of fish before,” he said.
The fish color is black and body is stripped. Many people gathered at a shop at the area to see the fish as the rare fish was kept there.
Fisheries Officer in Chuadanga Dr Md Mahbubur Rahman Talukder said I have not heard the incident yet. I can tell you in detail, after seeing the rare fish.
It may be an exotic fish as such kind of fish caught by fishermen in the pond for the first time at the area.
