Rangpur division recorded one fresh Covid-19 case testing 55 new samples after two consecutive days at the 1.82 percent positivity rate on Thursday.
Health officials said the Covid-19 pandemic situation continues improving in recent weeks across the division.
"With the diagnosis of the one fresh case, the total number of Covid-19 patients rose to 64,875 in the division," Divisional Director (Health) Dr Abu Zakirul Islam said.
The total number of recovered Covid-19 patients remained steady at 63,106 as no more patients healed during the last 24 hours ending at 8 am on Friday.
The number of casualties also remained steady at 1,289 as no new death was reported during the period.
Meanwhile, more 12,345 doses of Covid-19 jabs were administered on Thursday raising the number of inoculated vaccines to three crore nine lakh 64 thousand and 28 doses in the division.
"Among the total administered Covid-19 jabs, 1,35,80,219 doses were inoculated as the first doses, 1,30,12,257 as the second doses and 43,71,552 as the booster doses," Dr. Islam added.
