Institution of Diploma Engineers Bangladesh (IDEB) celebrated its 52nd Foundation Anniversary and Public Engineering Day' 2022 with the slogan “Renewable Energy for Sustainable Development”. A colorful rally and discussion meeting was organized on this occasion.
At 11 am on Tuesday morning, a rally came out from Munshiganj municipality and after circling various roads of the city, it ended at Munshiganj municipal square.
IDEB President Md. Amirul Islam Shahin, Vice President Md. Ataur Rahman Atal, General Secretary Md. Nurul Islam Siam, Organizational Secretary Md. Jewel Shikader, Library and Office Secretary Md. Monirul Islam and Women Affairs Secretary Ayesha Khanom spoke in the discussion meeting at the Municipal Charter.
Also present were Vice President of IDEB Md Shahjahan Badsha, Joint General Secretary Abdullah Al Mamun, Finance Editor Md Zakir Hossain, Employment Affairs Secretary Ahmed Reza Al Mamun, Literature, Culture and Publications Secretary Abu Raihan Mohammad Masud, Social Welfare Secretary-Abdur Rahman, Science and Technology Affairs Secretary Md. Mohiuddin, Information and Research Affairs Secretary Shubhra Debnath, Education Affairs Secretary Md. Wazi Ullah, Student Affairs Secretary Md. Ashiqur Rahman and Munshiganj District IDEB (Web Portal) Administrator Md. Khairul Islam.
In the discussion meeting, the speakers said that the diploma engineers work in the field and help in the development of the country. Diploma engineers should be more involved in sustainable development. To take the country forward, emphasis should be placed on technical education. Sustainable development in the country will be possible only through technical education.
