A delegation, led by ex-Chairman of the US-based leading tech giant Intel Corporation Omar Ishrak, on Thursday held a meeting with State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak at Agargaon’s ICT tower in the capital.
They discussed the formation of a technology-based national healthcare database by the joint initiative of the ICT Division, Medtronic Labs, BRAC and iHealth Solutions, said a press release. They discussed in detail about how to modernise and upgrade the health care in Bangladesh.
Department of ICT director general Md Mostafa Kamal, Medtronic Labs global market president Ruchika Singhal, iHealth Solutions Limited managing director Farrukh Alam, BRAC executive director Asif Saleh and iHealth Solutions business development manager Anika Ahmed, among others, were present at the event.
