Upazila Elections of Chuadanga Sadar and Alamdanga in Chuadanga district were held peacefully on Tuesday.
About 217 vote centres along with 1,548 booths were set up for casting votes of 5,59,051 voters in the upazila elections. At least 3,875 personnel of law enforcement agencies, two Judicial Magistrates and 26 executive magistrates worked for maintaining law and order.
In Chuadanga Sadar Upazila Election, 99 polling centres along with 740 booths were set up for casting vote of 2,63,849 voters.
In Alamdanga Upazila Election, 118 vote centres with 808 booths were set up to cast vote of 2,95,202 voters.
