While addressing a press conference, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina again said that she will never bow down to any foreign pressure. The premier also said she will do whatever is required for the welfare of the people.

Sheikh Hasina, also president of the Awami League, clarified her stance that no dialogue will be held before the next general election. Many local and international agencies have been working to make the election questionable.

The government has made the election commission completely independent financially and institutionally and enacted a law to this end so that the commission can hold a free and fair election. A free, fair and impartial election is required for continuation of the stability and the development and progress of the country.

BNP and their collaborators want to put the

government in an odd position by flattering

foreigners and doing the politics of conflict

But there are some opposition parties which are always trying to create problems by spreading false information. We are notifying BNP is seeking help of foreigners to get back to power as it has become “politically bankrupt”.

BNP had never been close to grassroots people. Whenever the party went to power, it plundered public resources. The party always relied to conspiracy and its leaders are now knocking on the doors of foreigners, but no foreign power will be able to bring them to power.

BNP and their collaborators want to put the government in an odd position by flattering foreigners and doing the politics of conflict. BNP and their allies are doing politics of conflict, grovelling and knocking on the doors of foreigners and hatching conspiracies against the country.

BNP is now trying to create an unstable situation in the country this year like in 2013, 2014 and 2015. Country’s people have an idea what they (BNP) want to do and what can they do. Therefore, the government should have a plan and preparation to face them.
