People started leaving Chattogram city for home to celebrate Eid-ul-Adha with their near and dear ones.

On Thursday morning, crowd of people was seen visiting the Chattogram railway station. They are eager to share Eid festive with their loved ones.

It turns out that those who bought tickets in advance are leaving on Thursday. No one was seen standing outside the seat or boarding the train.

Many leave the city on Thursday due to having a weekly holiday before Friday and Saturday. As a result, there was a stream of people walking to the train station.

From Chattogram, the inter-city train will leave at various destinations on Thursday. Mahanagar Godhuli will leave for Dhaka at 3 pm, Chandpur Special-2 will leave at 3.20 pm, Mymensingh Express will depart 3.30 pm, Sonar Bangla Express will leave for Dhaka at 5 pm and Meghna Express will depart Chandpur at 5.15 pm.

Private company worker Riad Uddin said, "I am going to my village house to celebrate Eid with my family."

A passenger named Sanowara Sumi said she was going home to celebrate Eid with her loved ones. I feel a special kinds of amusement in celebrating Eid with my relatives, she added.

Chattogram Railway Station Manager Abul Kalam Azad said, "We are trying to ensure maximum service to the passengers. Strict security measures have been taken at the station ahead of Eid.”
