State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak and newly appointed Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority managing director Rezaul Karim on Friday paid tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing a wreath at his mausoleum at Tungipara in Gopalganj.
After laying the wreath, they stood in solemn silence for some time as a mark of profound respect to the memory of the Father of the Nation.
Mohammad Rezaul Karim on March 6 joined Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority as managing director (MD). Prior to joining his new post, Rezaul was successfully serving as the project director of Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre.
Rezaul joined Bangladesh Civil Service as assistant commissioner (tax) in 1994. In his distinguished career, he was promoted to the post of deputy secretary in 2013, joint secretary in 2019 and additional secretary in 2022.
Project director, deputy director of Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park and some officials of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) ministry were also present there.
