Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Tuesday arrested an arms trader with 3 foreign made pistol, 66 rounds Bullets, 3 Magazines and 1 kg of Gun powder from Boroachra border village under Benapole Port police station from his possession.
The arrestee is identified as Aslam Hossain Shimul, 28, son of Ali Hossain Modhu of the village.
On information, a team of RAB-4 went to his resident around 11:00 am and arrested him with three pistols, three magazines and 66 round bullets, and 1 kg Gun powder, said Samir Sarker, commander of Jashore camp RAB -6.
A case was filed with beanpole port police station in this connection.
