A drug peddler was arrested along with 402 battles of Phensedyl from Jhajhadanga Village in Damurhuda Upazila of Chuadanga district on Tuesday.
The arrestee is identified as Hasan Munsi, son of Abdul Khaleque of Modana Village in Damurhuda Upazila of the district.
RAB-6 sources said some youths smuggled the phensedyl from India and was going to Darshana to sell the contraband drug.
Being informed, a team of RAB raided the area and nabbed Hasan Munsi along with the phensedyl.
He was handed over to Damurhuda police with the Phensedyl. A case was filed in this connection.
