A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Northern University Bangladesh (NUB) and Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) on November 22 at NUB Corporate office on the expansion higher education and professional attachment with industry.
NUB Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Anwar Hossain and DCCI President Shams Mahmud signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides.
Under the MoU, NUB and DCCI will engaged in different academic for mutual benefits that included availing different certificate courses, internship, joint research project on business and industry development in the country.
Professor Dr Abu Yousuf Md. Abdullah, Chairman, Northern University Bangladesh Trust, Prof Dr Nazrul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor (D), Commodore M Monirul Islam (Retd) BN, Registrar, Saad-Al-Zabir Abdullah, Director IT, Prof Dr Javed Mahmud, Head Department of Business Administration NUB along with the faculty members and other officers were present in the ceremony.
Representatives of DCCI, N K A Mobin FCA & FCS, Senior Vice President, Mohammad Bashiruddin, Vice President, Afsarul Arifeen, General Secretary (acting), Md Joynal Abidin, Secretary, Khodeza Begum, Principal, DBI and along with others also present on the occasion.
