The newly constructed administrative building of Jibannagar Upazila Parishad in Chuadanga has been inaugurated.
The 4-storey building was constructed at a cost of Tk 3 crore 94 lakh 58 thousand 342 with the funding of the Ministry of Local Government.
Chuadanga-2 seat MP Haji Mohammad Ali Azgar Togor inaugurated the four-storey building on Monday afternoon as the chief guest. Jibonnagar Upazila Executive Officer Mohammad SM Munim Lincoln presided over the inaugural ceremony.
Jibonnagar Upazila Parishad Chairman Haji Md Hafizur Rahman, Jibonnagar Municipal Mayor Jahangir Alam, Upazila Vice Chairman Abdus Salam Isha, Upazila Women Vice Chairman Ayesha Sultana Lucky, Jibonnagar Police Officer-in-Charge Md Saiful Islam, Jibonnagar Upazila Awami League President Golam Mortuza, General Secretary Nazrul Islam, Manoharpur UP Chairman Sohrab Hossain Khan and Upazila Engineer Borhan Uddin among others were present on the occasion. The contractor Zahurul Limited completed the construction work.
