The newly elected office bearers of Bangladesh Reconditioned Vehicles Importers and Dealers Association (BARVIDA), led by its 4th time President Md. Habib Ullah Dawn has taken charge of the office in a ceremony on Wednesday.
The ceremony took place at the Board Room of BARVIDA office Bijoynagar in the capital.
Sadeq Ahmed, Administrator of BARVIDA formally handed over the charge to Md. Habib Ullah Dawn.
Mohammed Shahidul Islam has been elected the Secretary General of the Association. Md. Aslam Serniabath, Reaz Rahman and Md. Gias Uddin Chowdhury have been elected the Vice President - 1, Vice President - 2 and the Vice President - 3 of the organization.
The bienniel election of BARVIDA was held on 18 June 2022 at a city hotel. The ‘Sammilita-Ganatantric Oikyo Parishad’ led by Md. Habib Ullah Dawn won 19 seats out of 25, while the `Shadhinata Parishad’ led by Mohammed Habibur Rahman got 6.
Later on 20 June 2022, the elected 25 EC members among themselves elected the office bearers of the association.
The newly elected Executive Committee of BARVIDA comprises of Md. Habib Ullah Dawn – President, Mohammed Shahidul Islam - Secretary General,Md. Aslam Serniabath - Vice President – 1, Reaz Rahman - Vice President – 2, Md. Gias Uddin Chowdhury - Vice President – 3, Belal Uddin Chowdhury - Joint Secretary General, Mohammad Anisur Rahman – Treasurer, Md. Saiful Alam - Joint Treasurer,Dr. Habibur Rahman Khan - Organizing Secretary, Md. Jashim Uddin - Publication & Publicity Secretary, Md. Abdul Awal - Planning & Development Secretary, Jobaer Rahman - Cultural Secretary
