Muktijoddha Mancha holds discussion on ‘Infamous Indemnity Ordinance’

A discussion meeting titled 'Infamous Indemnity Ordinance of the Illegal Government of Murderer Mushtaq and Zia: A Black Law Unprecedented in the History of the World' was held at Dhaka University Professor Mozaffar Ahmad Chowdhury Auditorium on Thursday under the initiative of Bangladesh Liberation War Forum. Minister of Liberation War Affairs AKM Mozammel Haque was the chief guest and Dhaka University Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Professor Dr. Muhammad Samad was present as the main discussant in the event.

Dhaka University Law Department Professor Dr Sheikh Hafizur Rahman, Veer Muktijoddha Major (Retd.) Mofizul Haque Sarkar, Bangladesh Muktijoddha Mancha Advisor, Heroic Freedom Fighter Zahir Uddin Jalal and Heroic Freedom Fighter Ruhul Amin Majumder spoke at the event under the chairmanship of Bangladesh Muktijoddha Mancha Central Committee President Aminul Islam Bulbul.

Minister of Liberation War Affairs AKM Mozammel Haque said that murderers Mushtaq and Zia worked to protect the interests of Pakistan by thwarting the Great War of Liberation and adopted various strategies to compromise with Pakistan.

Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Professor Dr Muhammad Samad said, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the history of our independence are tied together. Highlighting the history and contribution of Bangabandhu's struggling life in the formation of the country from the historical language movement to the great liberation war and after the war, he said that the example of such a great leader is rare in the history of the world. He appealed to everyone to spread the true history of the Great Liberation War among the young generation and to work towards the realization of Bangabandhu's daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's dream of building a developed country.
