The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) bolstered the strength of Bangladesh A team, calling up a number of cricketers including the former Test Captain Mominul Haque for the third and final unofficial Test against West Indies A.

The series-ending match will be held on May 30 at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.

The visitors took a 1-0 lead, thanks to a three-wicket victory in the second game after the first matches was drawn due to rain. But in the first game too, the visitors dominated the second string Bangladesh team thoroughly.

Along with Mominul Haque, Bangladesh also included Yasir Ali Rabbi, Nurul Hasan Sohan, Nasum Ahmed, Shoriful Islam, Mrittunjoy Chowdhury and Mushfik Hasan.

Axe was fallen on the players like Afif Hossain, who led the side in the first two matches, Shadman Islam, Naim Sheikh, Tanvir islam, Rishad Hossain, Syed Khaled Ahmed and Ripon Mondal. Khaled was included into the side after Rejaur Rahman got injured.

The selectors, however, didn't name the captain for the third match. The players who were called up had already reached Sylhet for the last match.

It was learnt some of the cricketers from here will be included into the national team for the one-off Test against Afghanistan, beginning from June 14. Hence the selectors want to give an opportunity to have some match practice.
