Mohammedan confirm four new booters to sign up

The Bangladesh Premier League football yet to take part in the mid-window inter-club players’ transfer started from April 10 when it’s just one week left of the deadline of signing up the players.      

Meanwhile, only Mohammedan Sporting Club took initiative to include four players in their squad when they already confirmed to complete the deal with them by April 20.

Imtiaz Ahmed Nakib, manager of the Mohammedan Sporting Club informed the Bangladesh Post on Wednesday that they were expecting to sign up Elita Kingsley, played first leg of the league for Bashundhara Kings.  

In fact, Mohammedan Sporting Cub earlier to start the league expressed their target to finish at least among the top fours but they had to work hard at the midway of the first leg and finally managed the fifth position at the end of the first phase.

As the chance left for them to lift their position from five, they have already taken initiative to include four players to exhilarate their strength. 

The former national star striker, Nakib also said that Bashundhara Kings will release Kingsley and Mohammedan willing to comprise him in their contingent. 

The Nigerian born Bangladeshi, Kingsley, who had the Bangladeshi nationality last year but failed to have the FIFA permission and could not play for the Bangladesh national side.

Elita, who had to play most of the matches as substitute and had rare chance to be in the starting lineup of Bashubdhara Kings is expecting to wear the traditional Black and White jersey in the seconding leg of the ongoing TVS Bangladesh Premier League.

Nakib, also the former Mohammedan’s booter told the Bangladesh Post that apart from Kingsley, they will also include Sheikh Morsalin another forward of Bashundhara Kings will be released, a British born Bangladeshi forward Nabil and a BFF Elite Academy player Miraz. 

“We have already confirmed all our four new booters, Kingsley, Morsalin, Miraz and Nabil to sign up in the transfer window and expecting the deal will be completed by April 20.”

About Nabil, Nakib said, “Nabil, a 22 years young came here last month and we watched him in practice sessions and looked not bad, hope will perform well as an attacking midfielder.”
