A mobile court in the town sealed Ankhitara General Hospital (a private clinic) and fined it Tk 50, 000 for conducting medical activities without any licence and skilled technicians on Tuesday.
Israt Jahan, AC (land) of Chuadanga sadar and executive magistrate conducted the mobile court. During leading the mobile court, the court found no proper documents and papers for running the hospital. Moreover, there was no skilled technicians too.
Dr Waliur Rahman, a representative of health department was present during conducting mobile court.
It is mentionable that a newborn child died in the hospital on September 12. A news item in this regards was published in different newspapers.
Accordingly, the mobile court conducted he drive.
