A minor girl was raped by a youth at Payeekpara village in Alamdanga upazila of the district on September 26 at about 6:30 pm.
According to police and family sources, the victim, daughter of Jiarul Islam who reads in class five of Payeekpara Govt. Primary School, was playing near their house on the day at about 6 pm. Ahmmed Ali, son of Marfat Ali of the village took her at shallow machine shed in crop field of the village and raped there.
The victim returned her home, became sick and disclosed the incident to the parents. Parents of the victim took her in Chuadanga sadar hospital for treatment.
Dr. Shamim Kabir, RMO of Chuadanga sadar hospitla said she is now under treatment in the hospital. Primary symptom of rape is seen on the body of victim.
Asaduzzaman Munsi, OC of Alamdanga police station said police is trying to arrest the accused Ahmmed Ali. Case was not filed until now, OC added.
