Michael Pena is clueless about the third Ant-Man film as he says the project will not start production for at least a year. Pena portrayed Luis, the fast-talking sidekick of Paul Rudd's Scott Lang aka Ant-Man in the Peyton Reed-directed Ant-Man (2015) and Ant-Man and the Wasp (2019). The 44-year-old actor, who currently features in supernatural horror "Fantasy Island", said that he has no idea whether or not he will star in the threequel and he is waiting to get some clarity about it.
"I have no idea. 'Ant-Man 3' is not going to be shot for another year or so. After my involvement in the first two 'Ant-Man' movies, we really won't even know what's going to happen until one to two months before we film," Pena said.
"I have no idea what's happening to be honest. Right now, Marvel is in a really cool position where they can break hearts by who they bring back and who they don't. But, I'm still interested even though I have no idea what's gonna happen, and I can't wait to find out," he added.
Michael Pena revealed that he doesn’t know if Luis survived Thanos’ decimation. When Thanos used the Infinity Stones to wipe out half of the population in the universe at the end of Avengers: Infinity War, fans watched as some of their favorite heroes were erased from existence. However, not every MCU’s character fate was revealed on screen, leaving fans to wonder whether favorites like Michael Pena’s Luis from Ant-Man survived Thanos’ decimation.
