While addressing Bangladesh Ansar and VDP’s 43rd National Assembly-2023 in Gazipur district, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina says Bangladesh will continue marching to be a smart, developed and prosperous country.

The ruling Awami League’s vision is to transform every village into a township alongside building the country as ‘Smart Bangladesh’ by 2041.

The ‘Smart Bangladesh’ will be based on smart citizens, smart economy, smart government and smart society. Bangladesh has already become a developing one from the least developed country. In order to materialise the vision it is needed to take different short, medium and long-term plans.

So, the agricultural production would be raised by promoting agricultural mechanisation; small, cottage, medium and large industries would be developed; all projects undertaken for road, sea, rail and air connectivity would be completed; a massive employment would be generated by ensuring local and foreign investment in 100 economic zones, and steps would be taken emphasising on agriculture and food processing industries.

Bangladesh has turned around in

the last 14 years as the

government has been

tirelessly working to ensure overall

 development of the country

Therefore, the production of digital devices would be increased and the local market for the devices would be expanded by increasing the purchasing power of the people of Bangladesh alongside finding new overseas markets for the items. Besides, the overall living standard of all the people of Bangladesh will be improved by ensuring the basic needs of people - clothing, shelter, education and medicare - up to the grassroots level in the country.

A developed golden Bangladesh will be built by transforming every village into a township if the Awami League is voted to power again. We all will have to work together with a renewed pledge to resist all domestic and foreign conspiracies for construction of the Father of the nation Bangabandhu’s dream of ‘Golden Bangladesh’ and a developed and prosperous ‘Smart Bangladesh’ by 2041.

Bangladesh has turned around in the last 14 years as the government has been tirelessly working to ensure its overall development and the countrymen are currently getting its benefit. However, as the election is approaching, Bangabandhu’s killers, plotters at Tarique Rahman’s political office Hawa Bhaban and Jamaat-e-Islami are out to grab state power using the backdoor. Besides, some rightists, leftists and extreme leftists now have joined with them. But Awami League believes in peace and development of the country as the party will remain beside people and keep protected their rights.
