A mobile court sentenced one person to 6 months jail on charge of keeping ganja at his home on July 26 afternoon.
The convict was identified as Motiar Rahman, son of Abul Hossain of village Jadabpur in sadar upazila of Chuadanga district. According to sources, Chuadanga Narcotics Control Department’s personnel with executive magistrate raided the house of Motiar Rahaman on the day, recovered 400 grams of ganja from his house and
detained him.
A mobile court was conducted by Habibur Rahman, Executive Magistrate of Chuadanga Deputy Commissioner Office. The court found him guilty and declared the punishment.
