Police recovered the body of a madrasha girl in a sack at Bismillah road area adjacent to Launchghat of Pekua upazila in Cox’s Bazaar on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Ayesha Begum, daughter of Md Jamal. She was a class IX student of Shah Mojidia Madrasha.
Mizanur Rahman, inspector of Pekua Police Station, confirmed the matter. He said that police recovered the body from the area at about 8:00 am. Miscreants might have killed her and left the body in the sack, he said adding the details will be known after investigation.
