A madrasa teacher named Shahnaz Begum Moli (39), died on the spot, in a road accident at Boldia Pukur on the Thakurgaon-Ruhia road in the district on Monday noon.
The deceased was identified as wife of Mokbul Hossain of Ghonimoheshpur village under Ruhia upazila.
Eyewitnesses said that Moly was returning from her house to workplace Ruhiya with her fellow teachers by Paglu bus on Monday morning.
Five more were also injured in the accident. They were along with Moli admitted to Thakurgaon Modern Sadar Hospital. But Moli died Many others were also injured in the sudden accident, and they were sent to hospital. Then doctor declared her dead.
Superintendent of the madrasa Dabirul Islam confirmed the death.
