State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak has said the local innovations are playing a pivotal role in the country’s economy and employment, reports BSS.
“We have to give priority to the local innovations for building a country of robust economy,” he said while inaugurating an innovation center initiated by the CTO Forum, non-profit organization of the Chief Technology Officers in Bangladesh on Thursday.
The state minister virtually joined the function as the chief guest. He said the innovation center is very much necessary for building a future innovative generation as the initiative will play a vital role to transform the youths into skilled human resources.
Chaired by CTO forum president Tapan Kanti Sarker, the programme was also addressed, among others, by ICT division senior secretary NM Ziaul Alam and innovation center’s technical lead and private mobile telecom operator Suhail Reza.
