Kolkata press club, India on Thursday organise a colourful reception programme to welcome delegates from the Chattogram Press club at Kolkata Press Club premises.
The program started with the performance of the national anthems of the two countries.
Delegates from Chattogram Press Club felicitated with various gifts including flowers, crests, and books.
First Secretary of Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Kolkata Ranjan Sen, President of Chattogram Press Club Salahuddin Md. Reza, General Secretary Debdulal Bhowmik and Kolkata Press Club leaders spoke on the occasion.
President of Press Club Kolkata Snehasish Sur presided and General Secretary Kingshuk Pramanik moderated the reception programme.
The delegation included Chattogram Press Club President Salahuddin Md Reza, General Secretary Debdulal Bhowmik, Finance Secretary Rashed Mahmud, Library Secretary Ahmed Kutub, Publicity and Publication Secretary Khorshedul Alam Shamim, Executive Members Jashim Chowdhury Sabuj and Manjurul Alam Manju.
Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh in Kolkata Andalib Elias and leaders of Chattogram Press Club paid rich tribute to the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu installed in Kolkata Press Club.
