Karmasangsthan Bank has introduced 'Bangabandhu Jubo Rin-2020', a special credit programme for the trained unemployed youths of the country, to celebrate the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, a press release of the bank said yesterday.
The vision and mission of the programme is employment generation and poverty alleviation by disbursing loan to the trained unemployed youths of the country and achieving SDGs targets by involving them to the economic growth.
The bank authority will first prepare a district-wise database of unemployed youths to implement the credit programme which will prioritise woman entrepreneurs in loan disbursement, the press release added. Under the 'Bangabandhu Jubo Rin-2020' programme, the bank will also create awareness among the entrepreneurs and train them besides assisting for the implementation of innovative ideas. The programme will also include underprivileged and natural disasters affected people.
