Jhenidah ATI organises orientation

Agriculture Training Institute (ATI) in Jhenidah had accorded a reception and organised orientation for the fresh students enrolled for the academic session 2019-2020 on Tuesday. 

The programme was held at the ATI auditorium with its principal Rifatul Hossain in the chair. One minute silence was observed at the inception of the programme to show respect to the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the mourning month of August. Deputy Director of the department of agriculture extension (DAE) in Jhenidah GM Abdur Rauf, ATI vice principal Manajit Kumar Mallik, chief instructor Sujan Majumder, senior instructor Devananda Biswas and Upazila agriculture officer Mofakkharul Islam among others attended as special guests.

Describing the motto of the course, the speakers said the government of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had recognized the graduate agriculturists as class one officers, while Sheikh Hasina government had taken one more step initiatives to recognize the diploma agriculturists as class two officers. It was a milestone for the agriculture sector that will help develop the sector.

They had urged upon the learners to deploy them in working for higher yield and ensure adequate safe food production for the citizens of the country as the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had dreamed of hunger-free Bangladesh until he was leading the country.
