Jashore SP visits slums at midnight with food

Jashore Police Superintendent Muhammad Ashraf Hossain visited various slums of poor people in Jashore town with packet of food items on Sunday early.  Sp gave ten kgs of rice, 5 kgs lentils, 2 ltrs oil and soap to the helpless people of the slum.

The rickshaw driver Hamid Ghazi and his wife Rahima Khatun, who were out of foods for  two days due to coronas said in a sad voice, ‘It is impossible to imagine  that the SP  gives food to poor people like  us. We pray to almighty Allah for the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the SP.

SP Mohammad Ashraf Hossain visited Nazir Shankarpur, Ishaq road, Railgate of the town overnight and gave food items to the 250 poor families.  Additional Superintendent of Plice (Crime) Mohammad Salauddin Shikdar, said that SP took his own initiatives, thinking of the helpless poor people in the community, who have been victimized by the lockdown of the Novel Coronavirus.

Jashore Police Superintendent Muhammad Ashraf Hossain said, It is a matter of great pleasure for me  to go  to their homes and give them foods." Until the situation is normal, the police will continue this programme. The SP urged the rich people in the society to stand beside helpless people in this situation.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime) Salauddin Shikder, Additional Superintendent of Police (C-Circle) Md. Ghulam Rabbani Sheikh, (B-Circle) Jamal al-Nasser, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle). Other senior officers of the district police  were present the programme.
