IUB students getting hired in Japan

Earlier, a Direct Recruiting Seminar on ”Work and Settle in JAPAN” was jointly organized on 27 October, 2018 by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB).

In this Seminar, representatives of Venturas Ltd & Human Resocia Co, Ltd; reputable human resource companies from Japan conducted the first interview on the spot with selected CSE students of IUB. They recruit most brilliant engineers around the world for the formation of a "Global IT Talent Team".

Companies interviewed a total of 38 candidates and among them, six students were hired on the spot based on their excellent performance in preliminary interviews. Another 7 candidates were selected after the online technical assessment test and the final result was published on 18 November, 2018. In total, 13 candidates from CSE Department were selected and offered jobs in Japan through this process. 

After the successful completion of Japanese language course (N4), two of the candidates - Hasib Ul Sakib and Md Ruman Ahmed have had acquired their work visas and left for Japan in early July to start their brilliant career. Five more graduate students - Mohammed Iqbal Hossain Rabbi, Dipta Barua, Imran Hossain Shoikoth, Md Sazzad Hossain, Pallab Biswas are set to fly for japan by end of July, 2019.
