ISPR Director Lt. Col. Abdullah bin Zayed has said that the journalists of the country have to keep the patriotism in mind when doing news because journalists believe in people. The ISPR always gives reliable information to the journalists.
He said these at discussion meeting with journalists at the Chattogram Press Club on
Sunday.
Referring to the ISPR acting as the voice of the Armed Forces, he further said, “We work for the Bangladesh Armed Forces. All Armry officers are listed on our website. We listen to everyone's advice.'’
Bangladesh Army 24 Infantry G2I Major Abu Saeed Golam Mawla, ISPR's Assistant Director Noor Islam, Tapasi Rabia were also present at the event.
Many journalists were present at the discussion. Among them, Chattogram Press Club’s President Ali Abbas, Vice-President Salauddin Reza, General Secretary Chowdhury Farid, Chattogram Journalists Union’s General Secretary Hasan Ferdous, TV Journalist Association’s President Nasir Uddin Tota, senior journalists Samir Barua, Shamsul Haque Haidari, Hasan Akbar, Nirupam Dasgupta, Sarwar Sumon, Shahidullah Shahriar, Anindya Tito, Hamid Ullah, Shimul Nazrul, Tajul Islam, Alamgir Sabu, and Nayan Barua Joy.
