Blankets have been distributed among the poor, helpless and cold people in Ishwardi upazila. Sara Union Awami League of Pabna Ishwardi Upazila organized the distribution of these blankets on Saturday morning.
Sara UP Chairman Emdadul Haque Rana Sardar gave a brief speech in the event organized on this occasion. It was chaired by Sara Union Awami League President Md. Jamshed Ali Sarkar.
Chairman Rana Sardar said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the shaper of modern Bangladesh, is working to change the fate of people of all classes and professions in this country.
Sheikh Hasina should be brought back to power by voting Awami League to build a better Bangladesh. He said that the Awami League leaders along with the government are always on the side of distressed, helpless and cold people.
Union Jubo League President Mostafizur Rahman Swajan Sardar said that blankets were distributed among 600 helpless and distressed people in all wards and different areas of Sara Union.
Swajan Sardar said they were happy to get blankets.
Union Awami League Senior Vice President Ekhlakur Rahman Ripon, Organizing Secretary Delwar Hossain, Shamim Pramanik, Union Jubo League President Mostafizur Rahman Swajan Sardar, General Secretary Shafiqul Islam Tota, Union Volunteer League President Harun-or-Rashid, 3rd Ward Awami League General Secretary were present. Sheikh Akbar Ali, 4th Ward Awami League General Secretary Montu Pramanik, 8th Ward General Secretary Lufar Rahman, Sara Union Chhatra League General Secretary Naeem Sardar and others.
