Information Right Fair-2019 organised by jointly Amrai Pari Paribarik Nirjaton Protirodh Jot (WE CAN) and Ishwardi upazila parishad' was held on Ishwardi upazila parishad premises on Sunday.
This year subject of the fair was ‘Information is the right of all, and no one will be deprived of it’.
However, Upazila chairman Nurujjaman Biswash inaugurated the fair on 11.00 am. UNO Ahammad Hossain Bhuiyan presided over the discussion meeting.
Welcome speech was delivered by Ashiqur Rahman Dulu field officer of Amrai Pari Paribarik Nirjaton Protirodh Jot (WE CAN). A cultural programme was held after discussion meeting.
At that time, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Momtaj Mohol, Upazila secondary education officer Selim Akhter, Social welfare officer Masud Rana, Amrai Pari Paribarik Nirjaton Protirodh Jot (WE CAN) Pabna-Sirajganj area project coordinator Shahina Parveen, Paban Zila Parishad member Shafiul Alom Biswash, Vice-chairman Abdus Salam Khan, Atia Ferdous Kakoli along with others were also present. Thirteen stalls were established in the fair.
