Indian National held with heroin in Chuadanga

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Battalion-6 arrested one Indian national along with heroin from Goyeshpur village in Jibannagar Upazila of Chuadanga on Tuesday.

The arrestee is identified as Jober Ali, son of Sahar Ali Malita of Meteri Village under Krinoganj thana of Nadia district of India.

 According to a press release signed by Mohammad Najrul Islam Khan, assistant director of BGB battalion-58, said being informed, a team of BGB raided the area and arrested him with 20 grams of heroin and handed over to police.

He also said that Jober Ali is a drug peddler.  He has been supplying heroin, hemp and phensedyl in the area for long.
