India gives special train for BD Urs pilgrims

A group of 2,333 Bangladeshi pilgrims will be travelling by a special train from Rajbari (Bangladesh) to Medinapore in West Bengal (India) to attend the annual Holy Urs Sharif scheduled to be held on February 17.

For the participation of the devotees in the Urs in Medinapore, Indian Railways will provide an empty rake comprising of 24 empty coaches to run the pilgrim special train from Rajbari to Medinapore. The pilgrim special train will leave Rajbari on February 15 and arrive at Medinapore in the morning of Feb 17, the Indian High Commission said.

In the return direction, the train will leave Medinapore on Feb 18 and enter Bangladesh on Feb 19 via Gede-Darsana interchange point.
