Hult prize regional summit concludes

The closing ceremony of the two-day long Hult Prize Dhaka Regional Summit 2021 organized by Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP)  Business and Communication Club (BCC) was held on Saturday at Bijoy Auditorium of its campus, reports BSS.

The programme was run by the Department of Administration in Marketing, Faculty of Business Studies (FBS) of BUP.

The aim of the Hult Prize is to provide an opportunity for the university students to create an impact for humanity, society and the world through a sustainable business, a business that can change the world, said a press release.

The 2021 challenge is aiming to create jobs, stimulating economies, reimagining supply chains, and improving outcomes for 10,000,000 people by 2030.

BUP VC Major General Md Moshfequr Rahman joined the competition as the chief guest.

This year BUP was one of the campuses to hold the Impact Summit with 63 Teams from different countries.

The countries are- Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, China, Japan and South Korea.

In the competition, six teams, five from Bangladesh and one from Nepal were qualified for the final round.

In the grand finale, ‘Mush Reign’ from Bangladesh Agricultural University won the champion trophy, Team DKCK from Army IBA became runner-up and, Green Leaf from Dr M A Wazed Miah Textile Engineering College secured second runner-up trophy.
