In the last three games, ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan’s contribution was also crucial.
Bangladesh has taken a 3-0 lead in the five-match series thrashing Australia in the first three consecutive match by 23 runs, five wickets and 10 runs on August 3, 4 and 6 respectively. We think the youngsters’ performance was something that gave Bangladesh T20 captain Mahmudullah Riyad the confidence to wrap up the series early. By winning three consecutive T20 matches in the series, Bangladesh has created history and it has been proved that Bangladesh are not lagging behind in terms of skills.

We think it is indeed good news that Bangladesh are in a very good position right now ahead of the T20 World Cup. Overall Bangladesh played 105 T20 Internationals and won just 37.
